Teddy is a student at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, studying piano with Katharine Lam. He is among very few pianists from Kenya studying classical piano abroad. He was discovered by Cordelia Williams during the covid epidemic as she was living in Kenya. In 2024 Teddy achieved great success in the Channel 4 TV programme The Piano, receiving mentorship from Lang Lang and performing in the final concert. Teddy’s future plans involve inspiring young musicians from Kenya.
