Tenor Ted Black was recently a finalist in the world-famous Kathleen Ferrier Awards. He is currently singing two major Mozart roles for Opera Wrocław in Poland before he returns to the prestigious Benjamin Britten Opera School at the Royal College of Music.
Together with Oxford Lieder Artistic Director, pianist Sholto Kynoch, Ted will bring a fantastic programme of French, Spanish and English songs: the bright wit of Francis Poulenc, a striking atmosphere of Cuba from the Spanish composer Xavier Montsalvage, songs by Debussy and Britten, and selections of Hanns Eisler’s Hollywood Songbook.
Tickets £12 (+ booking fee). Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
