Pett – 1840 ‘s Lifeboat House

I’m looking for a local historian who will under-take some research work on my behalf.

I have a George Pitcher / Pitchers who worked at the lifeboat house.

We have a sword and pistol in the family that was awarded to him for saving a life at sea.

I’d like to find the story of what actually happened.

Can anybody help?
