DESCRIPTION:Town criers from across the country gather in Rye for the National Town Criers' Championship, celebrating the heritage, ceremony and vocal skill of town crying.\n\nThe day begins at 11am with a procession from Rye Town Hall led by the Ryebellion Drummers. Round 1, the Home Cry, starts in Gun Gardens at 11:30am.\n\nAt 2pm, children and adults can step forward for a public Have a Go session. The criers return in full regalia at 2:30pm for Round 2, the Themed Cry.
