DESCRIPTION:The Rye Repair Cafe, where our volunteers will try to help with repairs to various devices, without charge, to keep them out of landfill. To find us on facebook please just search 'Rye Repair Cafe'.\n\nEveryone is welcome, please bring along any clocks, radios, bicycles, textiles, clothing, computers, plants, jewellery or tools for sharpening, and any small electrical items that are not working.  Basically anything portable you would like someone to advise on. \n\nWe can look at most items found in the house or other devices that have stopped working.  There is no charge for this, however donations are most welcome to cover our running costs. \n\nYou can even pop in just for a chat about your item.\n\nPlease remember all the helpers are volunteers, we can’t promise to fix your item, but will try, hopefully if we can’t, we may be able to point you in the right direction for more help.\n\nThis is a monthly event (not August or December), and is proving very popular. \n\nTea and cake will be available.\n\nIf you have a particular skill, that you feel may be of benefit to the community, please do contact us.
