Leasam house was were I lived for 5 years back in the 1980s and was wandering if there is anyone out there who knew of history of the house. I know Lord and Lady Wander lived there during the war.

Hi Claire, bet you don’t remember me lol, but I was also at Leasam House from 1984 to 1986, I also knew your sister as well.
Mt name is Tim Burgess, I was one of the first nine boy boarders at Leasam when it opened. Mr Anderson was the principle. I believe the year was 1955. I would like to hear from any of the other eight if you come across them.

Built in 1798, privately owned, Lord & Lady Warender owned the house from 1906 to 1955 .East Sussex County Council bought it. Then opened for an agricultural boarding school 1956-1972.
