James William Tiltman was my grandfather who liven in Arlington Gardens Margate. He married Florence Violet Ann Louise Tiltman.
They had two sons Chris and Andrew. James had two more sons Iian and Roger. So IIan I think I am related to you.

My grandfather was William James Tiltman (1885 Rye Sussex-1955 Romford Essex) son of Henry Allan Tiltman and Emily Playford, my grandmother Annie White was a passenger on a ship to Australia and appears to have had a shipboard romance with William Tiltman who was a Steward on the Orient Line, my mother was the result. DNA confirms my relationships to Tiltmans, Playfords,Underdown and Skinners. I wondered how we might be related. Kind regards Rita Brown
