Rye Chess Club’s first ever chess tournament, welcome to all levels!
We’ll have a good mix of complete beginners and advanced players attending – including a Chess Master! (Don’t worry, the tournament pairing system will make it more likely you play people at your own level of ability).
All you need to bring is yourself; no knowledge of how tournaments work is needed. If you know how to move the pieces, that’s enough (and if you don’t know how, join us at the chess club any Thursday at 5pm – we have taught many people to play!)
Starts promptly at 5:40pm, and will go on till about 7:40pm.
Completely free to play. There are teas/coffees/cakes available for purchase.
