Recently reformed as a 5-piece outfit, Mampama last played the Festival in 2019 when they kept a significant proportion of the audience smiling and dancing all evening to the joyous sounds of West and East Africa. Still fronted by Kevin Richards on vocals and acoustic guitar, master percussionist Henri Gaobi and Simon Lee on electric lead guitar and vocals, the backline now features Aquasi Darko on bass and Kofi Adu on kit drums. The choice is yours: dance the night away or sit and immerse yourself in the melodic music of the African continent.
