Autumn Meeting

Join us for our Autumn Meeting, where we’ll gather in a relaxed setting to share our experiences from the last quarter and address specific issues before hearing from guest speakers. NON MEMBERS ARE WELCOME! Check out the exciting agenda below!

6pm: Let’s meet in the conference room at Rye Wharf HQ for REGISTRATION a warm welcome and an introduction by Richard Benge, MD.

6.30pm: Join us on a fun Walk & Talk Tour of the amazing Rye Wharf facilities. Learn about the diverse range of businesses that operate from here. We’ll have Liam Booth from Freight Express Seacon with us, discussing their import and exporting services for the Rye Harbour business community. Find out how those massive ships for Long Rake Spa are docked and loaded! All very impressive!

7.00pm: Once we’ve completed the tour, we’ll arrive at our final destination, Unit C4 – Ethel Loves Me’s Maker’s Space! Wild Flame Pizzas will be there preparing an absolutely delicious supper for you all. And let’s not forget Jason, who will be providing the beers – cheers, Jason!

8.00pm: We’ll be treated to a inspiring talk by local entrepreneur, Emily Van Eyssen. She’ll share her journey on how she built her Remote Recruitment empire, which has successfully filled the UK skills gap with a highly skilled workforce from South Africa. It’s going to be fascinating!

8.30pm: We wrap up this very eventful evening with some all important networking.

10pm: Finish

Tickets are just £10 for members and £14 for non-members.

We encourage car sharing. Contact us if you are looking for a lift from town to the harbour. Don’t forget to bring a warm jacket – the nights are closing in!
