I am trying to book at table at the Copper Kettle in Rye. I haven’t been for a long time and would love to visit on my birthday in September the phone keeps ringing and there is no answerphone can anyone tell me if it is still there and is still a restaurnt please?

I think it is now closed down. The previous owners decided to call it a day after many years and I read somewhere that a temporary cook that worked there went amock and damaged some of the interior. It was listed for sale last year for 750,000. Hopefully it will reopen soon with new management.
