An Introduction to Printmaking with Nick Archer

THIS EVENT FORMS PART OF ‘THE ART OF BRITISH PRINTMAKING’ PROGRAMME

An Introduction to Printmaking (monoprint and dry point etching) in the print room at Rye Creative Centre on Saturday 25th May.

In partnership with Rye Art Gallery and our exhibition The Art of British Printmaking. Nick will be running a workshop in the print room at Rye Creative Centre – An Introduction to Printmaking (monoprint and dry point etching).

Monoprint is the process of painting onto a smooth printing plate and then printing this onto paper creating ‘one off’ prints. Dry point etching follows the technique of scratching /etching into a plate using a sharp tool and then printing the plate on the press.
