The Making of Yellowbeard & Other Documentaries

Join in the fun of an evening of locally-shot films. Watch two documentaries in the Country Ways TV series – Rye (1985) and Rye in December (2004). They feature interviews with fishermen, boat builders, farmers, Harbour Master, Rye Singers and Cinque Ports Pottery. Look out for local characters you might recognise including John Izod and Brian ‘Ringo’ Chapman. These will be followed by the documentary, Group Madness, The Making of Yellowbeard. It is acknowledged to be much better than the film itself! Relax in the nostalgia!
