Noel Varley has spent much of his life living and working on Rye’s waterfront. A former boatbuilder in Rye he has a vast range of vintage photos and engaging tales. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of Rye and its history, and a keen eye for the changing face of his home town, Noel’s talk is sure to entertain and inform in equal measure. Demand for tickets is likely to flood in faster than the tide into Noel’s beloved harbour side!
