What better way to spend a lunchtime in Rye than be listening to uplifting music in a beautiful, historic church? This recital programme by local organist Martin Bruce follows the thread of English organ composition from the sixteenth through to the twentieth century and is designed to show off the versatility of the impressive Norman & Beard instrument at St. Mary’s Church. Included are works by Stanford, Vaughan Williams, Howells and Walton amongst others.
