John Fewster: A Colour Educational Talk and Discussion
THIS EVENT FORMS PART OF ‘THE ART OF BRITISH PRINTMAKING’ PROGRAMME
John Fewster is a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers. He graduated from Norwich School of Art and has had a long career in graphic design and communication, in print, on screen and in digital image making.
As a creative consultant to Pantone Inc. (2010-15) John began researching and presenting on colour science and theory. This has now broadened into a Colour Education program aimed at creative art and design students: graphics, textiles, fashion, interior, fine arts…
For the Rye Art Gallery talk, John will present some focussed extracts from his Colour Education program as thought starter topics in order to explain how colour perceptions are produced, both in the real world and on-screen, and discuss whether colour is a tangible substance… or not.
Tickets are now available directly from Rye Art Gallery priced at £10 each
