I’m looking to find out if there is still a Hucksteps Row in Rye. I’m not sure of the correct spelling. The Carder/Adams family lived there for many years. I would love pictures if at all possible. thanks in advance. Donna

One response to “Hucksteps Row”
Donna Avery: Hi Donna. Hucksteps Row is most certainly still there – last year I stayed there in an incredibly beautiful and quaint little cottage. It’s available for self-catering through Freedom Holiday Homes – if you check them out on the internet, you’ll find a photo of the cottage I stayed in under reference RH1002. If you also check out reference RH1044 26, there’s a photo of the houses fronting onto Church Square, and Hucksteps Row runs back between them.
So did relatives of yours once live there? And how long ago?
Regards,
Yvonne.
