I am presently the Principal of Middle and High School and on vacation in Montreal, Canada. I intend returning to Manado July 8th.
I am waiting for the current enrollment for 2006-2007 so cannot give you a more definitive answer about our teacher needs. School starts on July 17th.
I may be able to give you more info this weekend about Lokon and other schools in the area. Essentially you need a sponsor to be able to work in Indonesia; this Kitas is obtained outside the country.

Caroline Orr: Sorry for the delay in replying but have been back to Canada.
I am no longer the Principal or Vice Director at MIS and would not recommend it as a place to teach. There have been many teachers (9+) who have resigned since the end of the last semester. There is only one true “Bule” from the UK and she plans to leave next year after finishing courses at
the university here. Most teachers are from the Philippines or local hire. Salaries are the minimum Ind Govt allows at NULL600us / month.
