Rye in East Sussex Town Guide

Paul Brann

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Paul Brann? His parents had a shop in the High Street where his dad was the barber. Paul was best man at my wedding in 1975 and the last time I saw him was in 1979, if anyone knows where he is now I would be very grateful, my number is [reveal tel] / e-mail:- [reveal email]
many thanks,
Peter Sherwood.

    Hi Peter,

Lesley had told you we know that Paul had died, however we are not sure she has told you that his mum Gus has now done so. She died in November.

You probably don’t remember us but I was Carol Palmer & married a Rye police officer Brian Phillips. Still have the present your mum & dad gave us for our wedding!

    Hi Carol,
thanks for letting me know about Gussie, she must have been quite an age. Did you know that mum had died as well? she died in 2002. As for remembering you, I can remember your names but after 23 years the photographic memory is not as good as it used to be! My wife Teresa, Mike Fagan’s daughter also remembers your names but also like me she cannot place faces!
