I lived in Rye from 1978-1980. My apartment was above Simon The Pieman. I was wondering if the original owners are still there, as they were my landlords. I had many lunchers there, and enjoyed my stay.

I have just discovered this website and was very interested to find this posting from somebody who has lived in the apartment above Simon the Pieman. I stayed in the flat (apartment) above Simon the Pieman for 3 weeks during the summer of 1975 when I was on holiday with my parents. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience, the most memorable holiday of my life in fact. I occasionally visit Rye, and when I do I always have tea in Simon the Pieman.
Kym, I realise it is a while since you made this post, but if you are still reading this website i would be very interested to hear from you or from anybody else who is familiar with Simon the Pieman, especially anybody who has lived there or stayed there. My email is [reveal email]
