Cmdr Frank Claret, O.B.E. – memorabilia in Rye

I am trying to track down several lots of memorabilia about Commander Frank Claret that were sold at auction in Rye in 2001 or 2002. The lots were described in publicity as: “The story of Commander Frank Claret told in photographs, ship reports, newspaper clippings, telegraphs, letters and ships papers reflecting the eventful life of a British transatlantic liner Captain both before and after the First World War and of his exploits as a wartime merchant navy Skipper when his ship, the Minnehaha, was fitted with a four inch gun and used to transport arms and munitions across the Atlantic.”

Jim Hollands, the editor Rye’s Own Magazine at the time, has suggested that they would have been broken up and sold to local dealers in Rye. The page is this one:

If you happen to have any information about this collection of artifacts, their whereabouts or sale, please let me know!

Thanks very much for your attention.
