Hi Jenn,
My grandfather was from northiam Daniel Booth Monk was his name, I am also trying to find more about the family. I’ve just seen your message and was wondering if you found out any history of the family. My grandfather later dropped the Monk name and our family name is Booth.
Regards,
Margaret
Hello Margaret,
I’ve just seen your message re Daniel Booth Monk. I believe he was the son of my gtgtgtgrandfather Isaac Monk who was baptized 15/12/1820. I have a Daniel Booth living with Isaac on the 1841 census and have often wondered if there is a connection. I would love to hear from you.
Hello Margaret,
I have just come across your message on the Rye message board. I am a direct descendant of Samuel Monk/Munk. I am happy to share what I know if you are still interested and get this message.
