I am trying to trace my ancestors – WOOLLEY – who resided in Rye at the beginning of the 18th century. JESSE WOOLLEY who was a “sailor” had a family of five in the 1830s
called Elizabeth Ann, Susan, Jesse, William and
Susanah (twins). Their mother was called Sarah Ann Roberts. They all resided in Pump Street which I believe is now called Church Square.
Any Woolleys left in Rye?
