I had a sister, Janet Mary Sherwin, who passed away aged 16 on the 26th April 1960 at Hill House Hospital. It was thought she may have been buried at a nearby church but the only one I can find is Playden Church but I have no way of verifying this. Can anyone help?

Hi,
I to had a sister who died there I found out that she was buried in the cemetery at the top of Rye hill as most of them were.No records were kept of exactly where they were buried only roughly. My guess is your sister would be there too ,if you contact East Sussex parks and cemeteries they maybe able to help.
Good luck Jenny
Thank you so much for replying, I was much younger than her and we never met but you always wonder and I just want to visit to pay my respects.
