My great grandmother lived in Rye Harbour during the WW2 years. I do not know her date of birth, I do know she eventually ended up in Canada in the late 70’s. Her name was Ann Wilson and I am told she was well known around Rye Harbour. I’m trying to track down any information about her- if anyone could help, I’d appreciate it.

Meghan King: Hi Meghan, could Ann Wilson’s name have once been Ann Winch?
Geraldine: Yes indeed her married name while in Rye Harbour was Winch. She was my great Grandma and I am looking for any information on her place and date of birth, husband, time in Rye, family, etc. Thank-you so much. She eventually came back to Toronto Canada (where I live now) where I knew her until I was about 6 or 7 and she passed away. How did you come to know Ann or of her???
Thanks,
Meghan
