My great great Granfather was a policeman at the Ypres Tower, I believe it was a gaol at the time.
His daughter Harriet my great grandmother was brought up there.
I have a few bits from that time, a picture by Baron of Rye and a scrap book done by her!
If anyone has any info I would be very grateful.
