I’m looking to trace Roger Rothwell, born in 1911 in Eridge, Rye. He was a secondary school teacher. Subject: French. He is/was married to Daisy, and has two children, Timothy & Gillian. If anyone was taught by him or knows his children, or him, could you please contact me. My father in law was his pen friend, and would love to contact him!! Yes after all these years.

Hello. I know this is a bit late, but Roger Rothwell was my secondary school headmaster (Tideway, Newhaven) and also Town Clerk when I was a Councillor.
To the best of my knowledge he passed away in about 2005/6, survived by his wife who died a few years ago.
They lived in Seaford.
Further to my earlier message, I stand corrected with regard to Daisy.
