Rye Cricket Club, located off Fishmarket Road behind The Cricketers pub, is a dynamic and thriving cricket club participating in the Sussex Cricket League. The club fields three teams across various divisions, with the First XI competing in Division 3, the Second XI in Division 7, and the Third XI in Division 12. Rye Cricket Club is dedicated to fostering talent at all levels, offering training sessions and a robust junior programme. The club runs several junior sides that compete in the Ashford and District cricket league, highlighting its commitment to nurturing young talent, many of whom progress to the club’s senior teams. Training for juniors and seniors is structured to accommodate players of all abilities and ages, ensuring a comprehensive development and competitive environment.
