Located in the citadel of this ancient Cinque Port town, The Apothecary was recommended in Homes and Garden magazine, and is one of the most authentic coffee houses in Rye. The Apothecary’s outstanding coffee and continental style food is served 363 days a year between 9am and 5pm.

At present the coffee house serves a wide range of freshly baked pastries everyday such as croissants, traditional English scones and a selection of various danish pastries – including the ever popular Maple & Pecan Danish! The Apothecary also serves light lunches which include sandwiches made to order, from the simple and classic egg mayonnaise to a delicious french brie and sliced red grape. In addition to this, lets not forget our large selection of sweet Crêpes, at The Apothecary Coffee House.
