You will start the session with a viewing of The Story of Rye – a sound and light show featuring the recently restored Rye Town Model. You will then set off for an informative guided walk exploring Rye in the ‘frontline of conflict’, particularly during WW2. The walk will be led by an experienced Rye Heritage Centre guide and will draw on the memories of the Clerk to the Chief of Civil Defence, local anecdotes and historical research.
