Just to let everyone in Rye know, that my very good uncle Frederick Greenslade who was a Painter and decorator in Rye/Camber for many many years and made many friends, has died. He reached the grand age of 94 and was a real old soldier.

One response to “Announcement”
Dear Karen Wallis,
How odd. I live in Calgary, Alberta, and on the 13th purchased a beautiful oil painting by a painter signed “W. L. Greenslade” of Devon England because it was so beautiful. Is this your uncle? Also please accept my sympathies for your loss. My dearest unlce is ill at present and it is hard to lose these gallant old men.
Sincerely,
Andrea Brussa
