I left a message on page 9 of your website, after my husband and I had enjoyed a holiday in Rye. I just thought readers of this site might like to know that I’m going to be on BBC Radio Kent (if you can receive that in Rye and environs?) on Thursday 30th Jan, at 11.00 a.m., speaking about Toby Jugs. I am also going to be on BBC Radio Essex on Wednesday 29th at 11.30 a.m. These talks are in conjunction with BBC History Magazine for which I’ve written a feature on Toby Jugs and which is in the current (Feb) issue of the magazine. I’m by no means a Toby Jugs ‘expert’ but it’s certainly fun being on local radio! I have been asked by ten radio stations to speak on this topic, so by the end of it, I’ve no doubt I’ll know more about the little chaps than when I started!
