Rye in East Sussex Town Guide

Rye Bay Scallops

Saw your email on the Rye website re: scallops. There was a feature on Rye scallops in last Saturday’s Times (1st Feb) in the Weekend Section, page 5, entitled “The Rye road to superb fresch scallops.” (Ed: Link to this article is in the “What’s New” section on the home page of this web site) It is by Charles Campion, and at the end it mentions Botterells, Fish and Shellfish Merchants, Harbour Road, Rye Harbour Rye, East Sussex (01797 222875). The article says that the Rye Scallops Week finishes tomorrow (i.e. last Sunday 2 Feb)
