Saw your email on the Rye website re: scallops. There was a feature on Rye scallops in last Saturday’s Times (1st Feb) in the Weekend Section, page 5, entitled “The Rye road to superb fresh scallops.” It is by Charles Campion, and at the end it mentions Botterells, Fish and Shellfish Merchants, Harbour Road, Rye Harbour Rye, East Sussex ( [reveal tel] ). The article says that the Rye Scallops Week finishes tomorrow (i.e. last Sunday 2 Feb)
